Thursday, July 29, 2010 End of work tmr, uni in 3 days. Screw itI haven't really viewed work as work for the past 3 months... it's been an awesome time to relax and take my mind off depressing events (although i get violently shoved back into reality during the weekends). Its like dreaming for 5 days and waking up to shit which seems to perpetuate.. Work's been rather fun really. From the best dress code in the world to the most flexible working hours.. actually makes me consider teaching with a goddamn law degree. Law is fine in its ways.. but the true-blue office environment's gonna make me sick in the stomach. I guess they say the prime-time of your life's these months before uni.. and i have 3 days of it left. If i had a time machine i'd live the last 1 month over and over and over again.

Sunday, July 18, 2010 I'm very glad I decided on NUSVery very glad One major reason is the lower level of stress.. I'm probably self motivated enough to have just a teeny bit of stress to get me going And I'm thankful for the company and friends who're there 24/7 In spite of the whole load of shit i get from persisting in some aspects of my life There's also a whole load of happy times to cheer about There is hope :)

Saturday, July 03, 2010 lost some $$$, but it was well worth it!got quite a kick from the uruguay-ghana match.. awesome suarez! i've always thought of the most practical method in times like those.. when the ball's almost certain to cross the goaline.. its always better to handball and guarantee its out. you never know how nervous the penalty takers can be! :) guess it isn't time for africa afterall..! then again.. brazil and holland match was a shit one. its not that i'm a huge fan of the south americans; their performance this year totally put me off. and the only reason why i had the heart-wrenching moments was 'cause money was put on the line. ohwell, they always say of gambling: pay to learn. now.. come on deutschland!! think they really deserve to win this year
Thursday, July 01, 2010 Seems the impression of good things can change in a flashDidn't expect that i'll get it from adults It's a big shame really Location: Office Wow situations can really make one really vindictive Goddammit I have a huge urge to tell the adult to stop behaving like a 15 yr-old And one more thing i realised after working (big and small companies alike): Honestly, the employees dont need to give a shit about the kind of work they produce FOR the company/firm. Smoke through it, look good, get paid, go home and live your life. Why remain loyal to something you dont have a stake in? I could very well do whatever that is necessary to get paid, thats enough. No use doing more than that. Nobody's gonna appreciate the extras. Come on, your boss is human dude. He ain't gonna praise you for something you did exceeding expectations. As you can see, I probably made a whole lot of sweeping statements up there. But yes, I gather my experience from 2 companies. And the fact that i'm typing this now at this time on a weekday makes it obvious what and who exactly i'm referring to.
